First day of our walk around the lake
Set off after another breakfast at 黄记
So many mosquitoes and spider webs omg...
Quite hot too, was repeatedly fanning myself while spraying my mosquito repellent
near 玄光寺
first break and got a 香菇茶叶蛋
Got a popsicle too. It was some 邵族 rice wine popsicle.
After that, we got some Longan Honey drink
(a wise decision, kind of survived on this for the rest of the day)
Walked in upslope to see the 慈恩塔
Not kidding, it was tiring going up just to see the pagoda.
But we knew not what was awaiting us after.
More tortuous slopes and stairs both up and down
More roadside/ on-the-road walks with multiple blind spots
Kept having to remind ourselves to keep walking in a single file
Can't rmb where exactly this spot was but it was probably the first walk-walk day
So thankful to have the rain only pour after we have covered all the hard to walk areas for the day
Reached 向山游客中心 later than planned but was glad to have reached somewhere
Our smiles disappeared after going in - no more lunch available
Was really tired and hangry... Like, really.
So my anxiety and hangriness did not allow us to rest long here.
I just wanted to leave so badly for our next place of stay.
I was really stressed too... will and that combination gave me gastric pain.
Gritting our teeth and pulling on in the rain
The area near the dam was kinda nice, a pity the weather was bad
Finally reached 碧水山居度假民宿！
Our room was 303 - on the 4th floor
No lifts
Thank god no luggage hahahahaha
Rested ourselves a good while
The view from our balcony was damn good!
Dinner about 20min walk away from our 民宿
The walk there along the lake was great

爌肉意面，大肠面线，豆腐空心菜汤，
My favourite dish Sweet and Salty Garlic Pork belly
Kinda made the day so much better
Tea and Tea flavoured ice-cream
Had a good rest there too before walking back to the 民宿
Saw so many stars in the sky on the way back!

no quality photo of the stars though, file transfers and upload makes the photo just black
But it was a nice experience looking up at the stars
minus the blood-hungry mozzies. I swear there was a swarm at our balcony when we got back after dinner
